you have way too much blood in your alcohol stream which can cause numerous undesired reactions.

fine. actually no different. i had some blood tests the other day and they said im "very healthy" and my liver and kidney tests came back normal. even after i told them ive been drinking at least half a bottle of liquor a day for about 15 years.... im still not diabetic(thankfully) my cholesterol is a little high(my mom gave me a huge bag of graziano goodies) my blood pressure is almost? high.
body wise after the detox i feel/felt normal. other than the weird craving for generic fish sticks.

So since you really don't feel any different, was it worth it? Does it make you feel like you could've just kept drinking?

i couldve kept drinking but i didnt miss out on anything by not drinking.
that, i guess was a good lesson to learn?
i mean i felt really healthy/good towards the end but the crazy sleep/nonsleep was weird but i think that was more my brain learning how to think again. and going cold turkey not drinking myself to sleep really fucking made my dreams terrifying which was kind of exciting.

thats what i was thinking. i stole this from another mess age bored. this is a list of what they bought for a home liquor cabinet. i like the list. i guess it was close to 500 but.... 14 bottles? for a year? i must drink a lot. that seems really low

I don't drink much at home. I'm a social drinker. And I wouldn't buy half of that because I'm not spending my money on crap I don't drink.
My liquor cabinet contains Paramount (we drink the Bacardi), Templeton Rye, various mostly empty bottles of vodka, a little bit of gin, some various mostly empty tequila bottles, Kahlua?, margarita salt and a lot of pretty sparkly glasses.
We buy stuff to make specific drinks and then only drink most of it, hence all the mostly empty bottles. We're liquor hoarders.
